Amongst other outputs, the CHACR publishes Ares & Athena and occasional research papers as a record of its events and workshops, comprising both attributed and unattributed articles commenting upon the issues discussed. In keeping with the CHACR’s core purpose, these views seek to inform the Army, rather than record views already held by the Army. Thus all publications attached to this site represent a series of views presented to the Army, rather than the views of the Army. It must be emphasized, therefore, that views expressed in these (and any other CHACR publication) are entirely separate from those of the Ministry of Defence, the British Army or any part thereof.

The Centre for Historical Analysis and Conflict Research (CHACR) is a 'think-tank' established on behalf of the Army to offer independent and objective views to inform future force development.
