Voices from the Front: Ground holding (Bucephal, Part 1)

Episode Description: In this first episode of Voices from the Front, callsign ‘Bucephal’ – a Ukrainian infantry training instructor and veteran of several tours of duty on the frontline – discusses the typical disposition of Ukrainian infantry along the line of contact. He describes the composition of a ground-holding fire team as well as movement and drone-evasion drills practiced within the kill zone. He also discusses the relative depth of sub-unit command posts.
About the series: Voices from the Front: First-hand accounts of the war in Ukraine is a new video series from the Centre for Historical Analysis and Conflict Research.
